Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wet Wild (ranked 1035 p4p, 140 weight class) and Luc Gagnon (ranked 425 p4p, 54 weight class). Gagnon has chosen Annihilator - King of the Kill as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wet Wild!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luc Gagnon!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wild scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Luc Gagnon has been cut.
Wild misses with a hook. Gagnon ducked under it nicely.
Wild throws a lazy right hand but Gagnon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gagnon is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Gagnon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wild knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gagnon on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gagnon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wild sprawls well. Wild wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gagnon gets slowly back to his feet.

Gagnon's coach down at True North Fight Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gagnon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wild enables Gagnon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wild manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Luc Gagnon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gagnon has knee on belly momentarily but Wild bucks him off and regains half guard.

Luc Gagnon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gagnon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
