The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spliffton scores with a hook.
Bale has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Lightning Kicks (MaxID290K) in the buildup to the fight.
Bale tries to clinch but Spliffton moves out of range.
Spliffton let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bale misses with a wild combination.
Bale pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bale takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tony Bale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bale throws a hook but Spliffton blocks it.
Bale lands a jab to the nose.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bale, as that shot connected.

It looks like Cron Spliffton has been cut.
Spliffton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Spliffton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bale misses with a double jab.

Spliffton closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bale quickly recovers to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bale on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Spliffton slows the pace down in half guard.
Spliffton wants to pass the guard but Bale is defending well.

Bale is looking to escape.
Spliffton is taking a breather. Bale says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That kick from Bale tenderised Spliffton's leg. Spliffton is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sloppy strikes from Spliffton. Those never looked like landing.

Bale cracks Spliffton with a big right hand and Spliffton goes down!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bale decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Spliffton, up you get!
Spliffton is holding his hands too far apart here. Bale throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Spliffton is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
