The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shadow connects with a nice short shot to Slayin's temple.
Slayin is trying to stand back up but Shadow is controlling him

Shadow lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Slayin down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Slayin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Shadow is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Slayin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Shadow gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Slayin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Shadow lets go of the hold and Slayin can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chief Shadow!
