Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kabyn Palmer (ranked 22709 p4p, 0 weight class) and Test One (ranked 5887 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer comes to the cage accompanied by i'm a cow. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One lands a jab.
Sloppy strikes from Palmer. Those never looked like landing.
A low kick from Palmer is predictable there
and One counters with a nice uppercut.
Palmer throws a right and a left that both miss.
A cross from One lands.
Palmer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but One circles away quickly and effectively.
One thuds his right hand into Palmer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Palmer misses with an uppercut. One saw that one coming.
One looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Palmer doesn't manage to clinch there - One circles away.
Palmer throws the kick towards the body but One avoids it.

One clinches up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from One.

One tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

One has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Palmer clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

One throws strikes from the back but Palmer rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Palmer.

One stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Palmer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters circle momentarily. One darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Palmer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Palmer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

One is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Palmer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Palmer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Palmer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Palmer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? One is fending him off so far but Palmer persists. Nope, One circles away and we're back to standing.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

It seemed like One was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
One throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
One throws a right hand that Palmer ducks under and follows up with a left that Palmer also avoids with ease.
Palmer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
One clobbers Palmer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Palmer looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Palmer throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
One leaves Palmer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Test One showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
