Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Train Dummy (ranked 5978 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Diaz (ranked 6025 p4p, 211 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Train Dummy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Justin Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a wild body shot.

and Dummy counters with a takedown into side control.

Diaz sneaks out the side door and pushes Dummy away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz takes a little break here. Dummy wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Diaz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Diaz has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Dummy has a takedown stuffed.
Diaz with the counter takedown but Dummy avoids it easily.

Diaz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dummy is looking to stand back up but Diaz counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dummy.

Diaz tries to pass to full mount but Dummy defends it.
Dummy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground.
Diaz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dummy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dummy is trying to stand.
Well, if Diaz is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Diaz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dummy has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dummy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though.
Diaz scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Dummy wants to get back to full guard.
Diaz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dummy is trying to maintain the position but Diaz is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dummy tries to roll over but Diaz keeps him under control.
Diaz is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Dummy is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Diaz lands a couple of good shots and Dummy has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Dummy throws a combination. Diaz tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Dummy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Diaz sprawls well. Diaz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dummy gets slowly back to his feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Dummy or perhaps it was just good defense by Diaz, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Train Dummy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diaz is taking a breather. Dummy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Dummy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diaz pulls his head out easily.

Diaz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Diaz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Dummy tries to hold on but Diaz postures up.

Diaz looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Diaz lands with some strikes.
Diaz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Diaz cracks Dummy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Diaz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Diaz leaves Dummy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Diaz has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dummy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Dummy closes the distance and clinches up with Diaz, looking for a takedown. Dummy pushes Diaz against the cage but Diaz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Diaz stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Train Dummy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dummy closes the distance and clinches.
Diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dummy walks away with a smile on his face. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Diaz gets tackled into the cage by Dummy. Dummy maintains the clinch.

Diaz wants to break free but Dummy has control.
Diaz tries for a takedown but Dummy manages to get underhooks.

Dummy drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Dummy wants to stand but Diaz is controlling the position.

Diaz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dummy tries to clinch up but Diaz circles away and keeps his distance.
Dummy sets himself, and Diaz steps forward looking for the clinch! Dummy avoids it this time.

Dummy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Diaz puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Diaz lands a nice short elbow.

Diaz stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Dummy to get to his feet.
Dummy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dummy.

Diaz drives through with a takedown into Dummy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Dummy wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Diaz manages to pass to side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
