The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Francis DeMontford and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bucky slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Regent takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Regent pushes Bucky up against the cage in a clinch.
Bucky blocks a body shot from Regent.

Regent has Bucky pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Regent pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bucky tumbling to the mat - Regent dives into Bucky's guard.
Regent makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Regent is stalling in the full guard.
Bucky is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Bucky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Regent on the ground.
Regent's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Regent wants to stand but Bucky has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bucky lands with a nice body punch.
Bucky lands with a cross.
Bucky lands a jab to the head.

Regent fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bucky to the ground. Regent is now in Bucky's guard.
Regent stays in close to Bucky's body and controls the position.

Bucky on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Regent looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Regent staying calm.
It looks like Regent might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Regent has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bucky is trying to work for a sweep but Regent has mounted him!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Regent controlling from the full mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Regent looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Regent putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bucky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Regent gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bucky lands a slapping body shot.

Bucky drops Regent with a beautiful combination! Regent stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bucky is looking for the KO!

Regent is rocked!

It looks like Markeese Regent has been cut.
Bucky pounces like a tiger and cracks Regent with a vicious hook! Regent is down but not out! Bucky follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
