The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton with a nice cross.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Eluard has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Patton lands a body shot.
Eluard throws a looping overhand right but Patton ducks down to avoid it.
Patton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Eluard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Eluard paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like Patton has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Eluard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Patton on the side of the head.
