Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Mike (ranked 1423 p4p, 151 weight class) and Al Jourgensen (ranked 1925 p4p, 207 weight class). Mike comes to the cage accompanied by Til I Collapse. Jourgensen has chosen Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix) as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Al Jourgensen!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Jourgensen.

It looks like Big Mike has been cut.
Jourgensen throws a shot from downtown. Mike moves away and avoids it.
Jourgensen misses with a straight left.
Jourgensen moves forwards but Mike connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Al Jourgensen has been cut.
Jourgensen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jourgensen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jourgensen lands a jab-cross combination.
Mike looks to score with a jab to the body but Jourgensen is just out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mike tries to bum rush Jourgensen with a series of wild strikes but Jourgensen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Jourgensen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Jourgensen drops Mike with a big left hand and mounts him. Mike is in big trouble!
Mike takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Mike bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jourgensen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jourgensen wants to stand up but Mike is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mike sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Mike prevents Jourgensen from getting back to his feet.
Mike trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jourgensen is looking to stand up but Mike isn't so interested in that idea.
Mike wants to get up but he can't break Jourgensen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mike looking to sit in guard and control but Jourgensen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jourgensen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Jourgensen is in close to Mike's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Mike tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Jourgensen throws an elbow that misses. Mike uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jourgensen's guard. Nice move by Mike!

Jourgensen manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Mike throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Nice combo by Jourgensen! Oh, that's hurt him - Mike falls to the canvas and Jourgensen follows him into side control.

Big Mike's cut is getting worse.
Jourgensen lands a nice forearm strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big shot lands for Jourgensen! That's hurt Mike! Will he recover? Jourgensen fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

A less than humble Al Jourgensen misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Big Mike spoke after the fight, saying 'Damn good fight, ready for the next!'.
