The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling Themistokles to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Jake Bishop has been cut.
Bishop fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bishop tries for a takedown but Themistokles circles away easily
and Themistokles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Themistokles! Bishop is out on his feet! Themistokles rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bishop is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bishop is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
