Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Javier Dominguez (ranked 4055 p4p, 320 weight class) and Bigg Sugg (ranked 5434 p4p, 385 weight class). Dominguez comes to the cage accompanied by The Man Comes Around. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Javier Dominguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bigg Sugg!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Chris Dean and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez goes for a double leg but Sugg avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sugg continues to drive forward.
Sugg with the counter takedown but Dominguez avoids it easily.

Dominguez drives through and clinches with Sugg against the cage.

Sugg is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dominguez can't fight it off and eventually Sugg manages to take the fight to the floor. Dominguez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dominguez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sugg can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sugg lands a couple of digs.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sugg's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Dominguez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sugg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dominguez keeping moving, preventing Sugg from controlling successfully.

Dominguez is looking for a triangle but Sugg pushes his legs off easily.
Sugg with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Dominguez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sugg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sugg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dominguez trying to keep a closed guard but Sugg is proving a slippery customer.
Sugg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dominguez is on top in guard.

Sugg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dominguez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dominguez passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Sugg is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dominguez asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Dominguez tries for a kimura but Sugg is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sugg can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sugg wants to get back to his feet but Dominguez drags him back down.

You can see the frustration on Sugg's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sugg is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dominguez's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Sugg wants to get back to his feet.
Sugg tries to roll over but Dominguez keeps him under control.

Dominguez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sugg has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sugg wants to get back to full guard.

Dominguez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sugg is just riding it out for now. Dominguez eventually gives up the hold.

Sugg gets full guard.
Dominguez lands a couple of digs.
Sugg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dominguez is one step ahead there.
Sugg is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dominguez dives into side control.
Sugg manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Sugg drops an elbow to the side of Dominguez's head.
Sugg moves nicely into side control.
We've been informed that Sugg has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sugg trying to control the position but Dominguez is working away.

Sugg connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dominguez some visible discomfort.

Sugg grinds an elbow into Dominguez's temple.
Dominguez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dominguez wants to control but Sugg postures up.
Sugg wants to take a breather but Dominguez manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Sugg.
Sugg connects with a couple of short punches.
Sugg is in close to Dominguez's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sugg keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dominguez's head.

Dominguez is rocked!
Sugg is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Oh Dominguez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sugg arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Dominguez's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bigg Sugg!
Bigg Sugg seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
