Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Bogard (ranked 2253 p4p, 314 weight class) and Hen Nessy (ranked 2130 p4p, 297 weight class). Terry Bogard is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Terry Bogard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hen Nessy!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogard swings for the body but Nessy moves out of range.
Nessy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Nessy lands with an uppercut that bounces Bogard off the cage and back into range.
Nessy dodges the punch combination from Bogard.
Nessy thuds his right hand into Bogard's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nessy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bogard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Nessy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bogard on his heels. He'll look to pass Bogard's guard now, I'm sure.
Nessy postures up in Bogard's guard and throws a big left but Bogard blocks it.

Nessy wants to pass the guard but Bogard is keeping the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nessy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bogard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bogard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've been hearing good reports from Bogard's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
