The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brophy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kwon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Brophy throws a leg kick which misses Kwon's front leg but catches the back leg as Kwon tries to avoid it.

Kwon swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

and Brophy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kwon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Brophy throws a combination that misses
and Kwon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That has opened up Mikael Brophy's cut even more.

Brophy lands a left and a right that send Kwon crashing to the mat, dazed. Brophy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Brophy lands a brutal head kick. Kwon looks out on his feet and Brophy throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

After the fight, Mikael Brophy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
