Dones moves into the clinch successfully.

Tipitapa tries to break the clinch but Dones is controlling the position.
Dones creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Tipitapa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dones's elbow.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dones has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Tipitapa unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Dones! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Tipitapa is unloading with more strikes now! Dones drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
