Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincent Lemieux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Huge Thot!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemieux lands a jab to the head.
A cross from Thot lands.
Thot throws a jab when Lemieux was well out of range.
Lemieux misses with a right hand
and Thot counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lemieux misses with a double jab.
Lemieux tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Thot manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Thot tries to keep at a distance but Lemieux has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lemieux struggles to land a body shot inside as Thot controls his hands.
Lemieux misses with a punch on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lemieux.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Lemieux definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Still in the clinch, Thot scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lemieux lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lemieux doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Thot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thot throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lemieux sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Thot misses with a hook.
Lemieux misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lemieux lands a big right hand that sends Thot crashing to the mat! Lemieux stays standing though and waves Thot back to his feet!
It looks like Huge Thot has been cut.
Lemieux gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Thot works on Lemieux's body with a couple of short punches.
Thot blocking some punches.
Thot fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Thot looks to throw an elbow but misses.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Thot takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Thot softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Thot obliges.
Thot breaks from the clinch.
Thot throws a hook to the side of Lemieux's head but Lemieux sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Thot dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lemieux missing with a left hand there. Thot was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Thot turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lemieux tries to clinch but Thot is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Danga de danga de dang - Thot scores with a four punch combination!
A punch lands to the side of Lemieux 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lemieux dances in with a quick combination. Thot is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lemieux snaps Thot's head back. Thot stumbles backwards against the cage. Lemieux steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Thot's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Thot just didn't come prepared.
