Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assad swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Fest counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fest.
Fest lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Fest scoring with some ground and pound.
Fest wants to control from the top but Assad keeps moving.
Fest stands up over Assad, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Assad is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fest controls from within his opponent's guard.
Fest trying to control the position from guard on top but Assad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Assad has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fest is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Assad.
Assad throws a few strikes from the bottom but Fest takes advantage and mounts!
Fest has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Assad is looking to get to half guard.
Fest postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Assad looks a forlorn figure.
Assad tries to hold on but Fest pushes him away.
Fest lands a big elbow.

Fest working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Assad turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Fest off and cradles Assad's limp body as Fest celebrates with his corner.

Fun Fest looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I'm getting sick of beating your ass.'.
