PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Cooper (ranked 7986 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magomed Magomedrasulov (ranked 8032 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Magomedrasulov as he jumps to the side.

Magomedrasulov works to advance to full mount. Cooper defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Magomedrasulov is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cooper to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cooper shrugs it off.

Magomedrasulov goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cooper turns into him and now he's in Magomedrasulov's guard.

Magomedrasulov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Cooper shoots for a double leg takedown but Magomedrasulov sprawls well. He's pushed Cooper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Magomedrasulov cracks Cooper with a hook to the temple - Cooper is on wobbly legs here! Magomedrasulov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Cooper falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Magomedrasulov wins by TKO!
