PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Hawaiian Kickboxer (ranked 22782 p4p, 678 weight class) and Marty McFly (ranked 22594 p4p, 668 weight class). Kickboxer comes to the ring accompanied by Hawaiian Kickboxer. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFly throws a shot to the body.
Kickboxer checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kickboxer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kickboxer throws a low kick but McFly moves out of range easily.
A bone on bone clash there as McFly blocks the leg kick.

McFly rushes Kickboxer and presses him up against the ropes.
I was talking to Kickboxer's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kickboxer scores with a nice hook to the head.
McFly working aggressively here.
McFly lands a hook to the side of the head.

Kickboxer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McFly throws a hook to the side of Kickboxer's head but Kickboxer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McFly lands a body shot.
McFly throws the kick towards the body but Kickboxer avoids it.
McFly misses with a jab to the body
and Kickboxer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kickboxer lands with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kickboxer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
McFly loads up on a big right hand but Kickboxer slips the punch.

Kickboxer fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but McFly is out of range.
McFly checks a low kick from Kickboxer.

A little feinted left hand from Kickboxer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That kick from Kickboxer tenderised McFly's leg. McFly is trying to keep his angry face on.
An inside leg kick from Kickboxer misses.
McFly on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kickboxer. Kickboxer obviously looking to wear him down.
McFly walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kickboxer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

McFly ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kickboxer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McFly is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kickboxer rather than just go for the knockout.

Kickboxer connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kickboxer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of McFly's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kickboxer moves out of range as McFly throws a body kick.
Kickboxer half committed to a counter leg kick.
Kickboxer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but McFly checks it well.
McFly doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
McFly cracks Kickboxer with a good jab.
Kickboxer tries to score with a low kick but McFly moves his leg out of the way.

McFly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

McFly closes the distance and clinches.
Kickboxer is trying to push McFly away but McFly has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

McFly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McFly gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kickboxer.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hawaiian Kickboxer will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McFly rushes Kickboxer and presses him up against the ropes.
Kickboxer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Kickboxer just misses with a elbow thrown towards McFly's brow.
McFly works on Kickboxer's body with a couple of short punches.
McFly tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
McFly has Kickboxer pressed against the ropes, preventing Kickboxer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Marty McFly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

McFly throws a front kick aimed at Kickboxer's knee but Kickboxer avoids it well.

McFly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

McFly sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
