Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Reese!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zerk Manboy!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reese misses with a takedown attempt
and Manboy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Manboy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reese stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Reese shoots and misses
and Manboy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A left lands for Manboy.

Reese tries for a takedown but Manboy circles away easily
and Manboy counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Reese. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reese throws an off balance right hand
and Manboy counters with a stiff right hand.
Reese walks into a stiff left hand from Manboy.
Manboy scores with a hook to the body. Reese takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

John Reese seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reese shoots and misses
and Manboy counters with a nice uppercut.
Manboy cracks Reese with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Reese gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Manboy.
Reese throws a leg kick
enabling Manboy to counter with a crisp jab.
Reese has his takedown stuffed
and Manboy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Manboy lands a left and a right that send Reese crashing to the mat, dazed. Manboy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Manboy counters with a straight right hand.
Reese is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Manboy throws a shot to the body.
Manboy clobbers Reese with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Manboy lands a lovely overhand right.
Reese fails with the takedown
and Manboy counters with a nice uppercut.
Manboy is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Reese had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reese shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Manboy counters with a crisp one two that drops Reese! Manboy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Reese to his feet! Reese is in big trouble!


Reese is rocked!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reese is defended easily by Manboy.
Manboy lands a nice shot to the body.
Manboy tests Reese's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Reese throws a body punch but Manboy moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Horrible takedown attempt by Reese or perhaps it was just good defense by Manboy, which made it look bad.
Zerk Manboy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Manboy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Reese throws a lazy head kick
and Manboy counters with a stiff right hand.
Manboy circles away from the clinch attempt
and Manboy counters with a nice body shot.
Manboy with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Manboy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Manboy connects with a jab.
Manboy listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Reese with a poor takedown
and Manboy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Reese thinking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oooooh!!! Manboy has knocked Reese down with a huge combo! Manboy steps away and waves a wobbly Reese back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Reese is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Reese. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Are you kidding me?! Manboy ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Reese clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zerk Manboy!
