The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Lennartsson.
Holmes connects with a body shot that sends Lennartsson's belly button to the back.
Lennartsson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Holmes.
Lennartsson slips a jab and a cross from Holmes.
Holmes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lennartsson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Lennartsson misses the target.
Holmes has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Holmes misses with a looping right.
Hank Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holmes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lennartsson looks to score with a jab to the body but Holmes is just out of range.
Lennartsson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holmes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lennartsson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Holmes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lennartsson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Holmes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lennartsson tries to bum rush Holmes with a series of wild strikes but Holmes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Lennartsson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lennartsson loads up on a big right hand but Holmes slips the punch.
Holmes clobbers Lennartsson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Lennart Lennartsson has been cut.

Holmes moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Lennartsson goes down! Can Holmes finish him!?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holmes pushing down on Lennartsson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Oh Lennartsson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Holmes has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lennartsson defend it? Holmes steps over the head and cranks it - Lennartsson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Holmes!

Hank Holmes tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
