The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bugurtov has time to react.

Thorn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bugurtov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Thorn is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bugurtov is controlling him well.
Bugurtov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Thorn sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Thorn tries to bench press Bugurtov off him but Bugurtov keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thorn wants to get back to his feet.
Bugurtov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Thorn has escaped the position, nice work there.

Thorn cracks Bugurtov with a right hand to the side of the head.
Thorn lands with a good body shot.
Thorn feints and then cracks Bugurtov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bugurtov down.
Bugurtov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bugurtov walks into a jab.
Thorn needs to keep his hands up - Bugurtov had a free shot at his head there.
Thorn lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Thorn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien Thorn dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bugurtov misses with a combination
and Thorn makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bugurtov rushes Thorn and presses him up against the cage.
Thorn is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Thorn stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A short uppercut from Thorn.
Thorn digs a right hand into Bugurtov's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bugurtov's gas tank.
Bugurtov has had enough of the clinch but Thorn keeps him there for the moment.
Thorn lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Thorn lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bugurtov or not.
Thorn lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Thorn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thorn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bugurtov sprawling to the canvas! Bugurtov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thorn finish him?!
Bugurtov is rocked!

Oh Bugurtov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thorn jabs Bugurtov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bugurtov seems to have got his legs back now.
Thorn throws an overhand right that drops Bugurtov like a sack of potatoes! Thorn dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

After the fight, Damien Thorn was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
