The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lungiambula leaves Ryan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ryan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lungiambula manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lungiambula is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ryan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Lungiambula has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ryan is working away from the top position though.
