Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Hirsch (ranked 3422 p4p, 100 weight class) and Baines McAdvar (ranked 6420 p4p, 173 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baines McAdvar!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAdvar throws a left and a right that both miss

and Hirsch holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Hirsch pulls McAdvar into guard.
Hirsch has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hirsch is on top in guard.

Hirsch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hirsch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McAdvar is adopting a defensive guard.
Hirsch throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hirsch is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hirsch's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Hirsch stands up over McAdvar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hirsch chips away with some ground and pound.
Hirsch is working McAdvar over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hirsch works over McAdvar with some ground and pound from guard.

Hirsch drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hirsch seems to have locked his on tight now - McAdvar screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hirsch, as he picks up the win!
