Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacare Gracie (ranked 9060 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Kruiz (ranked 2707 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruiz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ZARILA KANDZE kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tom Kruiz has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Kruiz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kruiz avoids it really well and circles away.
Kruiz lands with a shot to the body.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kruiz as he jumps to the side.
A cross from Kruiz lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kruiz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gracie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gracie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Kruiz shoots in and bounces Gracie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kruiz trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.

Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kruiz works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Kruiz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kruiz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Kruiz is nestled in close to Gracie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kruiz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kruiz pulls his head out easily.

Kruiz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gracie's face.

Gracie tries to lock up and control but Kruiz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gracie is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kruiz locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Gracie is forced to tap!

A very excited looking Tom Kruiz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
