Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorginho Marcelo (ranked 5197 p4p, 498 weight class) and Logan Reid (ranked 8608 p4p, 625 weight class). Reid comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Way Down We Go kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Marcelo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Reid napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Marcelo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reid, who protects the arm well.

Marcelo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reid is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Marcelo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Reid has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Marcelo but great work by Reid.

Marcelo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Reid has his hands clasped together but Marcelo extends and breaks Reid's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Marcelo.
