Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pugilistic Dementia (ranked 623 p4p, 91 weight class) and He Mu (ranked 974 p4p, 146 weight class). Dementia comes to the cage accompanied by Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar. Pugilistic Dementia could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to He Mu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, He Mu!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dementia throws a nice outside leg kick.
Dementia with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Dementia is looking to chop away at Mu's legs.
A countering left hand to the body from Mu misses.
Dementia connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like He Mu has been cut.
Mu moves out of range of the body kick.
Dementia looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dementia throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dementia can pounce on him.

Mu let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Dementia has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

It looks like Pugilistic Dementia has been cut.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mu. Dementia shrugs it off though.
Dementia loads up on a big right hand but Mu slips the punch.
Dementia scores with the left hand. Mu knows he should have avoided that one.
Dementia throws a lazy right hand but Mu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dementia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mu manages to avoid it.

Dementia fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Dementia lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dementia lands a nice hook to Mu's body. Mu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mu fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Mu takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dementia fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Mu counters with a right hand that sends Dementia tumbling to the canvas! Can Mu finish him? He dives into Dementia's guard looking to do just that!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dementia is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mu drops Dementia with a big left hand and mounts him. Dementia is in big trouble!

Dementia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dementia is looking for a triangle here but Mu uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pugilistic Dementia will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dementia dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mu. That did some damage!

Dementia is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mu can do to turn this around?

Pugilistic Dementia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice defenses there by Mu.
Dementia just misses with a punch to the body.
And Mu responds with a good body kick, but Dementia manages to step out the way in time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A nice side step and Mu releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Pugilistic Dementia is winning the standup battle so far.
Mu connects with a nice cross there... Dementia is looking wobbly and Mu recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Dementia to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Mu jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
