The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amadeus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mclovin.
Mclovin throws a series of punches but Amadeus avoids them all with ease.
Amadeus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A head kick from Amadeus lands but Mclovin takes it in his stride.

It looks like Greg Mclovin has been cut.

Mclovin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Mclovin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Amadeus gets back to half guard.
Amadeus is trying to control but can't.

Mclovin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Mclovin is looking for a kimura but Amadeus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mclovin to get the leverage.

Mclovin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Amadeus is trying to keep Mclovin in close.

Mclovin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amadeus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

and Mclovin counters with a single leg into guard. Amadeus didn't expect that.

Amadeus manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Amadeus lands a big head kick that sends Mclovin tumbling to the mat! Amadeus takes a step backwards and waves Mclovin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
