Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Von Kaiser (ranked 1375 p4p, 178 weight class) and Ispa Mfer (ranked 2311 p4p, 277 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaiser throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Mfer to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Von Kaiser has been cut.

Mfer gets tackled into the cage by Kaiser. Kaiser maintains the clinch.
Kaiser swings wildly with an uppercut but Mfer uses good head movement to avoid it.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kaiser.
Kaiser blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mfer misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kaiser swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mfer lands a left hand.
Mfer throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Kaiser swings wildly with an uppercut but Mfer uses good head movement to avoid it.
A left hand lands to the body for Kaiser.
Kaiser goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kaiser misses with a punch to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kaiser creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kaiser misses with a hook from the clinch.
Kaiser is looking to break free of the clinch but Mfer has double underhooks.
Mfer blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mfer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kaiser backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mfer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Mfer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mfer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kaiser's hands.

Kaiser gets through Mfer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kaiser lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mfer backwards.

Kaiser escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mfer ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kaiser defending well as Mfer loads up on a big left hand.
Kaiser misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mfer.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mfer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kaiser seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Kaiser throws a poor cross that misses
and Mfer counters with a nice body kick.
A jab from Mfer finds it's way through Kaiser's defenses.
Kaiser misses with an uppercut
and Mfer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mfer has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Kaiser takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Von Kaiser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mfer throws a lazy right hand but Kaiser sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kaiser misses with an uppercut
and Mfer counters with a crisp right that sends Kaiser to the canvas! Mfer follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
