Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Alexander Gruzdev (ranked 2546 p4p, 71 weight class) and Ray Lewis (ranked 2615 p4p, 72 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ray Lewis enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis fails to land with a series of punches.
Gruzdev tries to clinch up
and Lewis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gruzdev blocks a low kick nicely.
Gruzdev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lewis.
Lewis connects with a looping right hand.
Lewis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gruzdev.
The fighters circling - Lewis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gruzdev throws a lazy right hand but Lewis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gruzdev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gruzdev throws a looping overhand right but Lewis ducks down to avoid it.
Gruzdev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lewis.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lewis.
Gruzdev lands a slapping body shot.
Gruzdev misses with a hook
and Lewis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gruzdev misses with a straight right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lewis throws a looping overhand right but Gruzdev ducks down to avoid it.
Nice uppercut there from Gruzdev.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lewis.
Gruzdev throws a hook but Lewis avoids it easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lewis.
Lewis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lewis feints and then cracks Gruzdev's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gruzdev down.
Gruzdev throws a shot from downtown. Lewis moves away and avoids it.
Lewis cracks Gruzdev with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lewis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gruzdev misses with a looping left.
Lewis connects with an inside leg kick.
Gruzdev takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Gruzdev ducks under a wild hook from Lewis.
Gruzdev takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gruzdev momentarily.
Gruzdev takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lewis misses the shot to the body.
Gruzdev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lewis moves away.

Lewis throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lewis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gruzdev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lewis throws a shot to the body.
Lewis lands an overhand right.
Gruzdev lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lewis backs up against the ropes.
Lewis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Gruzdev lands with a hook. Lewis tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Lewis is rocked!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lewis.
Lewis is still on wobbly legs! Can Gruzdev finish him?
A slow jab from Lewis misses its intended target.
Gruzdev swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Lewis is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Gruzdev doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Lewis crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Lewis's bad books for that mishap!
