The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrows instigates a clinch.
Chase jumps guard and drags Barrows to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Barrows postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Chase is looking to stand up but Barrows isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barrows bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chase's guard.
Barrows distracts Chase with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Barrows stands up and waves to Chase to follow him.
Barrows has taken the fight to the clinch.
Barrows presses Chase against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Chase takes a knee right on the jaw!
Barrows manages to break the clinch.
Whack! Barrows lands a heavy head kick that drops Chase. The ref tackles Barrows to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Chase was done.
