Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timofei Rasputin (ranked 1986 p4p, 210 weight class) and Artur Kasza (ranked 2586 p4p, 263 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timofei Rasputin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Artur Kasza!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin with a nice cross.
Rasputin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kasza at a distance.
A big right from Rasputin misses.
Rasputin throws a body punch but Kasza moves out of range.
The crowd cheers as Rasputin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kasza doesn't seem phased though.
Kasza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rasputin tries to avoid it but Kasza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rasputin to the ground. Rasputin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rasputin throws a body punch but Kasza moves out of range.
Kasza uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rasputin.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rasputin. Kasza does a little dance to reset his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kasza.
A counter left hand to the body from Rasputin misses its target.
Rasputin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Timofei Rasputin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artur Kasza.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kasza's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Rasputin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kasza on the ground.
Kasza winds up and cracks Rasputin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Rasputin is not content to let Kasza control the position.
Kasza perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kasza tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rasputin defends well and Kasza ends up having to push Rasputin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kasza cracks Rasputin with a big right hand but Rasputin just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh Rasputin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Kasza scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Rasputin is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Kasza can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
