Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alfie Solomons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Snitch!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snitch scores with a sloppy right hand. Solomons should have avoided that one.
Nice defenses there by Snitch.
Snitch connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Solomons tries to work over Snitch's front leg with a kick but Snitch checks it.

Snitch clinches up against the cage.
Solomons goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Solomons looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Solomons misses with a hook from the clinch.
Solomons doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Snitch stalling.
Snitch taking a breather.
Snitch stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Solomons tries a body shot but Snitch blocks it.
Snitch trying to land knees to the body.

Snitch has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Solomons regains guard immediately.
Solomons is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Snitch dives into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Snitch is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Solomons will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Snitch tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Snitch controlling the position from side mount.
Let's hope that Snitch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Solomons is looking for a sweep.
Solomons stops Snitch from passing to mount.
Snitch controlling the position.
Solomons is trying to improve his position.
Snitch working the body and head with strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Snitch happy to just control the position for now.
Snitch passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Solomons!
Snitch sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Solomons tries to lock up and control but Snitch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Snitch controlling from mount.
It looks like Snitch might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Snitch tries to push Solomons's head away but Solomons is holding on tight.
Solomons is trying to stand.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Solomons working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Snitch dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Snitch throws a one two combo.
Solomons throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Snitch misses with an uppercut. Solomons saw that one coming.
Solomons takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Snitch jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Snitch misses with a straight left.
Donk. Solomons catches Snitch right on the button with a cross.
Solomons throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Solomons tries to sprawl but Snitch drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Snitch takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Solomons is looking to improve his position.
Snitch is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jon Snitch has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snitch's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Solomons wants to control but Snitch is keeping busy.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Solomons avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Snitch avoids the body shot from Solomons.
Snitch defending well as Solomons loads up on a big left hand.
Snitch throws a body shot but no joy.
Snitch lands a really nice looking cross but Solomons seems unphased.
Snitch has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Solomons throws an off balance right hand
and Snitch counters with a stiff right hand.
Solomons misses with a body shot.
Solomons takes one to the side of the head.
Solomons throws a body shot but no joy.
Solomons throws a hook to the side of Snitch's head but Snitch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Solomons waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Snitch.
Snitch goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


Solomons is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Solomons misses with a left hand
and Snitch rattles Solomons with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Solomons tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Snitch dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Solomons stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jon Snitch!
Our winner, Jon Snitch, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
