Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Morgan (ranked 104 p4p, 10 weight class) and Qhorin Halfhand (ranked 342 p4p, 32 weight class). Halfhand has chosen Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Qhorin Halfhand!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halfhand walks into a left hand.
Morgan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Halfhand misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Morgan.

Morgan throws a half hearted mid kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Halfhand has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Halfhand lands a glancing blow to the side of Morgan's head.
Morgan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Halfhand! But no joy.

and Morgan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Morgan cracks a nice hook into Halfhand's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Morgan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Morgan tries to clinch but Halfhand is having none of it.
Good leg kick by Halfhand there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fighters circling - Halfhand throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Halfhand throws a body shot but no joy.

Morgan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Morgan is looking to wear down Halfhand with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Morgan misses with an uppercut. Halfhand saw that one coming.
Morgan walks into a straight right hand from Halfhand.
Halfhand throws a head kick but Morgan moves out of range.

Morgan throws a push kick but Halfhand slaps the foot to one side.
Halfhand throws a sloppy head kick and Morgan moves out of range easily.
Morgan looks to score with a jab to the body but Halfhand is just out of range.

Morgan tried to counter with a leg kick but Halfhand avoided it.

and Halfhand counters with an outside leg kick.
Morgan just misses with a punch to the body.

and Morgan counters with a left to the body.
Halfhand looks winded!

Halfhand takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Morgan ducks under a wild hook from Halfhand.

Morgan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Halfhand sprawling to the canvas! Halfhand rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Morgan finish him?!

and Morgan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Halfhand thinking.

Morgan moves in close and cracks Halfhand with a massive right hand! Halfhand, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Morgan!

Jack Morgan very nearly forgot to thank Reaper Combatwear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
