The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele misses with an uppercut. Kowalski saw that one coming.
Kowalski definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kowalski throws a hook but Steele avoids it easily.
Steele throws out a counter right but Kowalski avoids it with no problem.
Steele motions for Kowalski to come forward. Steele throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kowalski appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Kowalski slips a jab and a cross from Steele.

Roger Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steele throws a lazy right hand but Kowalski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kowalski fires out a quick counter leg kick but Steele just manages to avoid it.

and Steele counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Steele loads up on a big right hand but Kowalski slips the punch.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kowalski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Steele has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Steele and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kowalski drops Steele with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Steele looks back up at him and smiles so Kowalski waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Are you kidding me?! Kowalski ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Steele clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
