The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kartiko tries to clinch up but Adesanya circles away and keeps his distance.
Mohammed Kartiko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Adesanya is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kartiko's shoulder. That is not cool.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adesanya moves into range and clinches up with Kartiko.
Adesanya jumps guard but Kartiko stands there with Adesanya around his waist. Adesanya gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Kartiko misses with a takedown

and Adesanya holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Adesanya manages to break the clinch.
Adesanya shoots in but no luck this time.
Adesanya changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kartiko tries to avoid it but Adesanya manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kartiko to the ground. Kartiko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mohammed Kartiko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noad Adesanya.
Kartiko feints a jab promting Adesanya to slip. Kartiko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Adesanya slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Adesanya in particular looking to stall.
