Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Danny Charles (ranked 17935 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldo Crespo (ranked 2317 p4p, 119 weight class). Crespo has chosen Toxic Waltz as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Charles shoots in for a takedown but Crespo shows good takedown defense.

We've been hearing good reports from Charles's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Charles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Charles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crespo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Charles has managed to get both his arms back between Crespo's legs - danger averted.

Crespo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Charles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Charles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Charles has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Crespo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Charles is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Crespo pulls down on the head and he's put Charles to sleep! This one is all over!
