Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Katuro Tisoaka (ranked 8378 p4p, 616 weight class) and Tyler Antonew (ranked 18163 p4p, 0 weight class). Tisoaka comes to the cage accompanied by Festivo. Katuro Tisoaka had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Tyler Antonew!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Bruno Hogan.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Tisoaka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Antonew avoids it really well and circles away.

Tisoaka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Antonew manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Antonew is trying to control the position but Tisoaka postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Tisoaka has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Tisoaka seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Antonew for as long as he can get away with.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Tisoaka.
Tisoaka's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tisoaka doesn't have the hooks in and Antonew manages to turn into his guard.

Tisoaka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Antonew's guard.

Tisoaka is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Tisoaka is stinking the place up with his stalling.

Tisoaka avoids the attempt from Antonew to control.
Antonew is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Tisoaka is staying active.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tisoaka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tisoaka takes the fight on points by 17 to 4.
