The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eugemia shoots in for a double leg but Lowe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Eugemia's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lowe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Eugemia scrambles back to his feet.
Eugemia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lowe scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Lowe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Eugemia is working away from the top position though.

Eugemia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lowe pinned against the cage. Lowe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
It looked like Lowe wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Eugemia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lowe tries to avoid it but Eugemia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lowe to the ground. Lowe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
