Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kai Mackay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Dio!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackay loads up on a big right hand but Dio slips the punch.
Dio looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dio throws a combination. Mackay tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Mackay scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Mackay lands a slapping body shot.

Dio rushes Mackay and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dio closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mackay throws a right hand that Dio ducks under and follows up with a left that Dio also avoids with ease.
Mackay misses with a two punch combination.
A little jabbing left from Dio on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mackay takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Mackay just misses with a punch to the body.

Dio throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mackay tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dio is in Mackay's guard.
Dio passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Dio working the body and head with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dio is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mackay's shoulder. That is not cool.
Dio is working Mackay over with some ground and pound from side control.
Dio cracks Mackay with a big right hand but Mackay just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Mackay takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Dio is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mackay is trying to escape and Dio transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mackay is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dio! Very nice indeed!
