PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunter Schultz (ranked 2064 p4p, 255 weight class) and Andy Bogard (ranked 2020 p4p, 251 weight class). Schultz's entrance music is Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix). A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogard lands a head kick. Schultz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bogard has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Schultz avoids the head kick by Bogard.
Bogard explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The fighters circle momentarily. Schultz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Bogard drops Schultz with a left right combo! Bogard follows him down to the ground into side control.

Bogard has hold of Schultz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Schultz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
