Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Steamboat (ranked 1881 p4p, 241 weight class) and Big Mac (ranked 2880 p4p, 336 weight class). Steamboat comes to the cage accompanied by Migos- Bad and Bouje . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Big Mac!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steamboat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steamboat tries for a takedown but Mac circles away easily
and Mac makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mac digs a good hook to Steamboat's body.
Steamboat shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Ricky Steamboat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mac stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mac wants it to stay on the feet.

Mac is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mac can do anything to dispel that myth.

Steamboat has control of Mac's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mac regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Steamboat sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Mac is in a horrible position here. Steamboat smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Steamboat throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Steamboat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mac manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Mac, under a barage of strikes from Steamboat.

An out of breath Big Mac thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
The defeated Ricky Steamboat had this to say: 'Good win to for my opponent will be back'.
