The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pica moves into the clinch.

Raznosac Pica seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pica shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gibson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Gibson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Pica dives into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gibson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pica scores with a couple of nice shots.
Pica thows a huge punch but Gibson dodges it nicely.

Pica is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gibson is just riding it out for now. Pica eventually gives up the hold.

Let's hope that Pica has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Gibson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pica has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well, if Pica is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Pica shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gibson's guard.

Gibson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Cristobal Gibson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Pica clinches up with Gibson and pushes him back against the cage.
Gibson tries to pull guard but Pica holds him up against the cage and eventually Gibson drops back down to his feet.
Gibson jumps guard but Pica turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gibson tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pica has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Raznosac Pica showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Pica circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Gibson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Pica follows Gibson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
