The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Heritageaka missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Heritageaka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Heritageaka won't allow Lawson to get back to his feet.
Heritageaka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like Heritageaka might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heritageaka is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lawson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Heritageaka scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Lawson is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Heritageaka can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
