Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Magomedov (ranked 24213 p4p, 493 weight class) and Philip Ziskie (ranked 5161 p4p, 382 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Magomedov.
Ziskie lands with a good body shot.
Ziskie cracks Magomedov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Magomedov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ziskie finds it's way round the side to connect with Magomedov's head.

Ziskie forces Magomedov back against the cage and clinches.
Magomedov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ziskie just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ziskie lands a nice shot to the body.
Ziskie gets through Magomedov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ziskie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Ziskie.
A right hand to the body from Ziskie.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Magomedov is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ziskie lands a nice uppercut.

Magomedov is rocked!
Ziskie working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Oh Magomedov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ziskie lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Ziskie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ziskie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Magomedov is stalling in the full guard.
Magomedov seems to have got his legs back now.

Magomedov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ziskie is looking to cinch up a triangle. Magomedov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ziskie's body to avoid the submission. Ziskie has instead reached around Magomedov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ziskie arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Philip Ziskie!
