With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaiah Sturridge!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sturridge bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sturridge throws out a loose jab but Forbes uses good head movement to avoid it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Forbes.
Forbes throws an off balance right hand
and Sturridge counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Forbes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sturridge.
Forbes lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Isaiah Sturridge has been cut.
Sturridge scores with a crisp jab that stopped Forbes in his tracks.
Sturridge connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Forbes momentarily.
Forbes checks the leg kick nicely there.
Forbes changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Sturridge throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Forbes sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Forbes is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sturridge scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Sturridge holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Sturridge is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Sturridge throws a hook to the side of Forbes's head but Forbes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Forbes counters with a takedown into side control.

Forbes swings around for an armbar but Sturridge sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Forbes's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Forbes is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sturridge rolls with it to try and escape but Forbes cranks on the arm and Sturridge is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bradford Forbes!
A relieved looking Bradford Forbes thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
