Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tung Fo (ranked 1645 p4p, 235 weight class) and Zorba The Dancing Buddha (ranked 1577 p4p, 225 weight class). The Dancing Buddha has chosen Zorba Time as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tung Fo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zorba The Dancing Buddha!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fo closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Dancing Buddha circles away.
As Fo backs off The Dancing Buddha throws a huge counter combo but Fo manages to avoid it all.

Fo feints and as The Dancing Buddha raises his hands in defense, Fo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The Dancing Buddha manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round but I would say that Tung Fo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fo dives in and grabs The Dancing Buddha's left leg, looking for a takedown. The Dancing Buddha pushes down on Fo's head and hops out.

Zorba The Dancing Buddha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Tung Fo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fo has gone for a leg lock! The Dancing Buddha slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fo's guard.

The Dancing Buddha is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fo is just riding it out for now. The Dancing Buddha eventually gives up the hold.
Fo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of The Dancing Buddha's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take The Dancing Buddha's back!

Fo is persistently looking for the submission but The Dancing Buddha is defending it well.

Fo is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but The Dancing Buddha has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

I would just about give that final round to Zorba The Dancing Buddha.
I think The Dancing Buddha has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
