Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Happy Forclit (ranked 699 p4p, 25 weight class) and Brenden Abbott (ranked 998 p4p, 32 weight class). Brenden Abbott has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Happy Forclit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 51 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brenden Abbott!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forclit uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Abbott.

Abbott tries to land a leg kick but Forclit saw it coming and moves away.
It looked like Forclit wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Forclit ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Abbott uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Forclit has time to react.

Forclit fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Abbott to the ground. Forclit is now in Abbott's guard.
Forclit will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Abbott fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Forclit looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Forclit's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Abbott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Forclit scrambles back to his feet.

Abbott looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Abbott connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Abbott shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Forclit tries to close the distance and clinch but Abbott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Happy Forclit will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Forclit closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Forclit's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Forclit sitting and controlling from the half guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Happy Forclit.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Forclit, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
