Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chosu McGrady (ranked 4491 p4p, 359 weight class) and Agustin Benitez (ranked 3643 p4p, 304 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chosu McGrady!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Agustin Benitez!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benitez shoots in but no luck this time.
McGrady wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
McGrady throws a series of strikes that have Benitez backpedaling.
McGrady scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Benitez is rocked!
Benitez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGrady pinned against the cage. McGrady gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Benitez is still on wobbly legs! Can McGrady finish him?
Chosu McGrady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benitez tries to clinch up.
Benitez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Benitez seems to have recovered his senses.
McGrady lands with a hook. Benitez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McGrady closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Benitez's guard.

Benitez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Benitez has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at IC&E Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
McGrady sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Benitez's guard.
McGrady thows a huge punch but Benitez dodges it nicely.
Benitez is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Benitez is looking to improve his position.
McGrady takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Benitez wants to improve his position but McGrady is controlling well.
Benitez trying to hold on to McGrady's head to control him but McGrady postures up.

McGrady has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Benitez defend it? McGrady steps over the head and cranks it - Benitez is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McGrady!
