Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Dassler (ranked 456 p4p, 71 weight class) and Clifton Von Lee (ranked 323 p4p, 45 weight class). Von Lee has chosen Day of Anger as his entrance music. Clifton Von Lee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
23 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudi Dassler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Clifton Von Lee!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Lee throws a hook but Dassler avoids it easily.
Von Lee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Von Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dassler changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Dassler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Von Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dassler somewhat.
Von Lee looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Von Lee thuds his right hand into Dassler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Rudi Dassler has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Von Lee throws a poor cross that misses
so Dassler counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dassler drops back, looking for a kneebar! Von Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Von Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Von Lee!
Dassler is trying to improve his position.
Dassler manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Von Lee actively working from the bottom here.
Von Lee wants to get back to full guard.
Von Lee told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Von Lee trying to hold on to Dassler's head to control him but Dassler postures up.
Dassler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Von Lee moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dassler postures up in Von Lee's guard and throws a big left but Von Lee blocks it.
Dassler won't allow Von Lee to sweep him here.
Von Lee has Dassler pulled in close to control his posture.
Von Lee is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dassler throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Von Lee's body to avoid the submission. Von Lee has instead reached around Dassler's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Von Lee arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Clifton Von Lee!
Clifton Von Lee decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
