Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Corey Clark (ranked 1219 p4p, 135 weight class) and Demitrious Johnson (ranked 22186 p4p, 513 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Demitrious Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clark wants it to stay on the feet.
As Johnson looks to move away, Clark throws a big counter combo but Johnson just gets out of the way.
Clark keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Johnson.
Clark feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johnsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Clark lands with a hook. Johnson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Demitrious Johnson has been cut.

Clark shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clark is nestled in close to Johnson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Johnson tries to roll over but Clark keeps him under control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Clark lands a nice short elbow.
Clark working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Clark cracks Johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That has opened up Demitrious Johnson's cut even more.
