Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dalip Singh (ranked 3102 p4p, 118 weight class) and Raycon Figg (ranked 4609 p4p, 161 weight class). Dalip Singh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Raycon Figg's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dalip Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raycon Figg!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singh moves into the clinch successfully.
Figg fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Figg is trying to break the clinch but Singh is controlling him.
Figg content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Singh is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Figg swings wildly with an uppercut but Singh uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Singh misses with a body punch.

Singh has Figg pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Singh pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Figg tumbling to the mat - Singh dives into Figg's guard.

Figg manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Figg has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Singh moves into range and clinches up with Figg.

Singh is looking for a takedown.
Singh definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Singh misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Figg manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Singh wants to take the fight to the mat but Figg manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

The crowd cheers as Figg lands an impressive looking overhand right. Singh doesn't seem phased though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Raycon Figg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Figg wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Singh has him pressed against the cage.

Singh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Figg can do anything to dispel that myth.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Singh connects with a nice short shot to Figg's temple.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

I think Figg has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
